What makes Mini Boss Academy different than tutoring?

We don’t guess. We assess first, then teach to the student—not the worksheet. Each child follows a clear plan, learns at the right pace, and builds confidence through small wins and real understanding.
Private tutoring can be great, but it varies by tutor and often lacks a structured system. We provide a consistent plan, progress tracking, and a method-focused approach—so improvement is measurable, not random.
Both. Some students need to catch up, others need to keep up, and some want to get ahead. The plan adapts to the student’s level and goals.
Ages 8–14 (typically late elementary through middle school). We tailor sessions based on grade level and skill level.
Not “busywork.” If we assign practice, it’s targeted and short—designed to reinforce what was learned and build consistency.
We identify strengths, gaps, and learning habits. Then we recommend the best plan and create a clear roadmap so you know what “progress” looks like.
Age-appropriate math skills (foundations, reasoning, and problem-solving). The goal is clarity—not pressure—so we can build the right plan.
Better understanding, stronger habits, and more confidence. Parents usually notice calmer homework nights and better communication about schoolwork.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the plan and frequency. We keep it simple: choose a plan, attend regularly, and track progress. Ask us for current packages and availability.
Results depend on attendance and starting level, but most families see improvement in confidence first—then accuracy, speed, and grades over time.
It varies. Some students need a few months to close specific gaps; others stay longer to build mastery and stay ahead. We’ll review progress together.
Yes. Our Flex option supports families who need remote sessions or mixed schedules—without lowering standards.

What’s the difference between AI help and your program?

AI can generate answers fast, but it can’t reliably diagnose misconceptions, build habits, or adapt moment-to-moment based on your child’s cues. We focus on deep understanding, confidence, and consistency.
It’s helpful, but not always correct and often skips reasoning. For learning, the steps matter more than the final answer.
Not consistently. Real instructors notice hesitation, confusion, and confidence shifts—and adjust the explanation in real time.
You usually don’t—without checking. That’s why we teach verification skills: estimating, using alternate methods, and understanding why a solution works.
